Can We Talk? Joan Rivers Cheers on Jim Belushi & Co. at Born Yesterday

Caustic comedienne and ruthless red carpet critic Joan Rivers knows a thing or two about being a woman in a man’s world, and the television fixture was delighted to stop by Broadway to take in a show about exactly that: the stage classic Born Yesterday. The famous funny lady took in the comedy about politics and the power of, ahem, female persuasion on April 22, then headed backstage to congratulate talented actors Nina Arianda and Rivers’ fellow Second City comedy troupe alum, Jim Belushi. Belushi and Arianda star as a not-so-honest Washington businessman and his not-so-dumb blonde girlfriend, and Broadway.com was there to capture this piece of work putting her seal of approval on a Broadway classic.
